Seat types
- Cars 1–6 are operated with 281 series trainsets, while Cars 7–9 are operated with either 271 or 281 series cars.
- You can't walk between Car 6 and 7.
1st class
Car 1 is 1st class, called “Green Cars.” All seats are reserved. They feature a 1+2 seating layout, offering comfort even on long journeys.
2nd class
All cars (excluding Car 1) are 2nd class, with a 2+2 seating layout.

- The stops of the trains vary depending on the train.
- ▲ indicates stations where only some trains stop.
- The HARUKA train operates every 30 minutes.
- The HARUKA trains to and from Yasu operate three round trips per day.
- At Shin-Osaka Station, passengers can transfer to the Sanyō Shinkansen and Tokaido Shinkansen.
- At Kyoto Station, transfers are available to the Tokaido Shinkansen.
- At Osaka Station, passengers can transfer to the Limited Express Thunderbird, Super Hakuto, and Hamakaze services.

- Holidays in May, August, and December are extremely crowded.
- In addition to the HARUKA, a rapid train directly connects Kyobashi, Osaka, Tennoji, Hineno and Kansai Airport every 15 minutes.
